A great groover from the tight 80s run of Shakatak – the British group who were equally well-tuned towards fusion, soul, and crossover modes! Al Jarreau guests on the album's title track – but the set's got some equally nice vocals from Jill Saward, who brings in a blue-eyed soul approach that prefigures bigger coming acts in both Brit soul and pop – at a level that further reminds us that Shakatak were one of the real originators on the scene. Keyboards are heavy on most instrumentation – and titles include "Day By Day", "Secret", "Once Upon A Time", "I Must Be Dreaming", "Africa", and "Goodbye Mickey Mouse". CD features four bonus tracks – "Day By Day (ext)", "Round & Round", "The Seventh Ring", and "Don't Push Me". © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
