Marching Out

LP (Item 757602) Polydor, 1985 — Condition: Very Good+
(Cover has some light wear, mild bend.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Condition Notes

If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially if it is release or pressing details, or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Barclay James Harvest

Everyone Is Everybody Else
Polydor, 1974. Very Good
A nice lean set from Barclay James Harvest – a record that gets more to the core of their sound after the larger arrangements of some of their albums for Harvest Records – in a way that also seems to bring out more of an edge in their songwriting, too! The shift is somewhat subtle, but ... LP, Vinyl record album

In The Beginning
Polydor, Early 60s. Near Mint- Gatefold
Raw early Beatles – recorded in Hamburg at the beginning of the 60s when they were backing up singer Tony Sheridan – surprisingly well-preserved recordings, assuming that no one knew that this little backing band was going to take over the entire pop music world in a few years! John Mayall

Moving On
Polydor, 1972. Very Good+
Bill Cosby introduces this hip little live set from the John Mayall group – which is fitting, as there's definitely a bit of an LA groove on the set! John Mayall

Turning Point
Polydor, 1969. Very Good
An album that definitely lives up to its title – as the set is definitely a turning point in the career of John Mayall, and the debut of brand new lineup that helped move his music past a the straighter sound of American blues! There's still plenty of blues at the core – and great ... LP, Vinyl record album

Dot, Late 60s. Very Good+
Incredible work from Brian Hyland – one of the under-rated pop geniuses of the 60s! Brian's a lot older here than on his earlier hits – singing in a strange take on sunshine pop, one that's got some nice undercurrents of sadness that you really wouldn't expect – with these ...
