(Shrinkwrap has some sticker remnants and is cracked a bit at the opening.)
This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Wild work from the legendary Lord Buckley – a key postwar figure of hipness on the west coast, delivering routines that include "The Naz", "The Gasser", "Supermarket", Willie The Shake", "God's Own Drink", and "Subconscious Mind". LP, Vinyl record album
The Moments' last album for Sylvia Robinson, and kind of a mish-mash of styles and approaches – but also a record with some really nice moments! The group's harmony style is as smooth as ever – heading towards the more polished approach the trio would take as Ray Goodman & Brown ... LP, Vinyl record album
Quite possibly The Moments' last good album, and a record that has them mixing a bit of funkiness into their usual style of sweet group soul. There's a mix of modern soul with some of the group's older styles – and the harmonies are as great as ever, perhaps more so because the production ... LP, Vinyl record album
Warmly grooving 70s soul from The Staple Singers – recorded in a fuller Memphis mode that's miles from their gospel roots, but still plenty darn nice! The style here is very much in keeping with the hit Staples mode of the time – righteous, full, but still nice and earthy at the bottom ... LP, Vinyl record album
