Great Moments In Cubs Baseball

LP (Item 748965) Major Official, 1971 — Condition: Sealed
Narrated by Jack Brickhouse, Bert Wilson, Charlie Grimm, Hal Totten, Lew Fonseca and others.  © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Still sealed, with a blank round sticker at the top right corner.)

Sealed

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Snail, 1986. Near Mint-
A long-overdue follow-up to Ken's last Word Jazz album for Dot – done for Nordine's own Snail Records label nearly 20 years after the last one! The style here is less "jazz" and more atmospheric than before – very much in the mode of Nordine's Word Jazz syndicated radio show ... LP, Vinyl record album

A really cool little record – way more so than you might expect! Lou Donaldson

Blues Walk
Blue Note, 1958. Very Good
A pivotal album in the career of saxophonist Lou Donaldson – a set that really has him finding his own groove – a slow-stepping, soul-drenched mode that's a nice change from the bop of his roots!
