Let's Go Crazy (edit, album)

12-inch (Item 74833) Warner, 1984 — Condition: Very Good
(pic cover)

One of the most romping tunes ever recorded by Prince – the kind of cut that was an instant dancefloor stormer back in the day, and still sounds mighty groovy all these many years later!  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Cover has light wear.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

One of Prince's biggest tunes ever – and a track that still sounds surprisingly great to our ears these days – funky, chunky, and completely catchy – with a hook that shouldn't go over so well, but really sends the tune home time and time again! 12-inch, Vinyl record

A great release of the song that really put Prince over the top – a song that got him maybe more play on rock and pop stations than he was ever getting on soul radio – and which for years became an anthem for folks who never would have touched his music in years before! Prince is looking mighty ready for the get down on the cover – and he's sounding the same on the single, too – serving up one of his slinkiest funky cuts of the early 80s – backed with the non-LP b-side "Irresistible Bitch" – which is maybe even better! "Let's ... 12-inch, Vinyl record

A fantastic setting for "If I Was Your Girlfriend" – a wonderfully nasty slow funk number from Prince – backed here by the even-better "Shockadelica" – a fuzzy, raspy number that wasn't issued on any full length album at the time! 12-inch, Vinyl record

A great little cut from Sherrick – an overlooked Warner soul singer of the mid 80s! "Just Call" is an incredibly catchy number – one that's free from most mainstream soul cliches of the time – and which has a sly little glide over lightly dancing beats and keys. ... 12-inch, Vinyl record
