The debut from Michigan's Starting Artist Crew – from the same school as Jurassic 5, People Under The Stairs and Ugly Duckling. The SAC worked very hard to come up with a solid full length, rather then blowing their wad on a single or two. Promising! Tracks include "The Ill Na Na", "SAC Swagger", "Feed The Homeless", "The Kick Clap", "Grateful Dead", "The Promise", "Five Days Trippin'" and more.  © 1996-2020, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Out of print.)

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD". This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer Used CDs in the best shape possible.

When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs — so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.

All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

Cypress Hill

Cypress Hill
Columbia/Ruffhouse, 1991. Used
Cypress Hill's debut masterpiece – one of the biggest and best first albums in 90s hip hop! There's little we can add to the canon when it comes to describing this album's impact, but it's still pretty revelatory. Like other west coast rap heavies of the time, Cypress Hill documents real ... CD

Alchemist & Oh No (Gangrene)

Vodka & Ayahuasca
Decon, 2012. Used
Damn! Alchemist & Oh No's debut as Gangrene was no fluke, seeing as this second dose is even better than the first! This is psychedelic underground hip hop soundscapes paired with no nonsense rhymes – and that style works incredibly well for these dudes. This one's gonna be standing ... CD
Blue Note, 1958. Used
The scene may be changing, but nothing can dampen the fire of the great Bud Powell – and, if anything, this fifth installment in Blue Note's "Amazing" series may well have the pianist at his mature best! The rhythm duo are wonderful – more late 50s modern hardbop than some of ... CD
