(In a Capitol sleeve, with a name in pen on both sides. Labels have a name in pen.)
Near Mint - (minus)
Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Peoples Potential funk from the height of the 80s cosmic groove era! "I Like The Way You Do It" is by The Loni Gamble Band feat Lisa Warrington, a funky group tune with a tighter feel than some of the more electro steeped vibes of times with a nice guitar groove and spacey keys. 12-inch, Vinyl record
A keyboard classic from Moroder, with that dark moody feel that he brought to his best work, one of those tracks that worked equally well on a soundtrack or in the discos! 12-inch, Vinyl record
A great mellow groover from Womack & Womack – a tune that steps along with a bubbling sort of groove, and a heck of a warm feel overall! The mix of female lead and male supporting vocals comes off totally great – and there's an infectious guitar bit in the background that really ... 12-inch, Vinyl record
A really unlikely pairing of artists – vocals by Lightnin Rod, who'd later record his legendary album in the 70s – with guitar and bass from Jimi, and organ and drums from Buddy Miles! 12-inch, Vinyl record
A tight single off the 5 Boroughs LP! The cut rocks nicely in a new school fashion with a nod to the old – stabs and breaks strung together in a nice funky fashion, plus a remix by Just Blaze! 12-inch, Vinyl record
