This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

Upbeat soul with plenty of polish – but never in a way that dampens the groove at all! Instead, these tracks mark a huge new level of sophistication in the soul world of the 60s – sounds from smaller labels who were learning the lessons of Motown – able to fuse together tight ... CD
Excellent work from an overlooked west coast soul label – LA's mighty hip Romark Records, home to a surprisingly righteous batch of work from the 60s! Most tracks here hail from the label's mid 60s heyday, but have a groove that's light years past most of their contemporaries – really ... CD
One of our favorite all-time vocal groups – even if they did sell a bazillion records during the 70s! Of course, we have to give the lion's share of the credit to Teddy Pendergrass – whose darkly warm vocals pushed most of the group's tracks over the top, and forever set a new standard ... CD
The Manhattans were one of those groups who knocked around for years in the indie soul world – cutting some fantastic material early on, but then losing direction for a number of years until they sprung forth as a huge act for Columbia during the early 70s. By that time, the band had more ... CD
Great work here from Spank – a group with a much warmer groove than some of the "spank" records you might know from the disco scene of a few years before! This time around, the rhythms are mostly midtempo – tight-stepping grooves with lots of 80s soul touches intact – a ... CD
Amazing, simply amazing – and a record that's way more than we were expecting! The Roots team up here with legendary Miami soul singer Betty Wright – in music that comes from a film project, but which really stands up brilliantly on its own – as a record that may well be Betty's ... CD
Forget Dionne Warwick, and think Burt Bacharach – because on this sublime little set, The Dells are singing some of Burt's greatest tunes ever – all set to impeccable arrangements by the legendary Charles Stepney! The album's more wonderful than you might even expect – a true ... CD
A tasty little album from Funkadelic – one that has Bootsy Collins joining the group, and really hitting the unique approach that would become the definitive P-Funk groove! And although tracks are shorter and even more focused, there's still a fair bit of guitar in the set – keeping ... CD
