The great first full length chapter of an ultra-hip ensemble – a contemporary group, but one with a great ear for the spiritual sounds of the 70s! The group's a bit like Build An Ark – no surprise, as they've shared a similar label, Kindred Spirits – and like that collective, this one really helps bridge a space between older jazz expressions and 21st Century styles – showing that older music still has a strong influence on the younger generation, especially when the sound is as deep as this! There's plenty of Coltrane and Pharoah Sanders inspiration going on here, but the execution is a bit different too – bits of strings amidst jazzy flute, keyboards, and trumpet lines – plus occasional vocals too. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
