LP (Item 726041) HoZac, 2014 — Condition: Sealed

(2015 German reissue pressing on Screaming Apple.)

Sealed

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

B-52s
Warner, 1979. Very Good+
A hell of a debut from The B-52s – and a record that's become surprisingly timeless over the years, despite a retro-styled approach by the group! These guys aren't the silly group of later years here – and instead, they've got this moody darkness that's wonderful – a re-envisioned ... LP, Vinyl record album
Verve, 1968/1969. Very Good
A slice of Velvet Underground that's almost as essential as the group's first few albums for Verve – material recorded during those years, but never issued at the time – finally put together in a legitimate package in the mid 80s, after years of circulating around as bootlegs! Blue Cheer

Vincebus Eruptum
Philips, 1968. Very Good+
Archetypal heavy rock from Blue Cheer – one of THE underground classics of the late 60s! Guitars are firmly, very jammingly in force – and the set's produced to perfection by the legendary Abe "Voco" Kesh. Powerful, fuzzed out, blues based fire at it's most forceful and ... LP, Vinyl record album

Steely Dan

Can't Buy A Thrill
ABC, 1972. Very Good+
The first album from Steely Dan, and already a leading light in the world of 70s rock! Sire, 1980. Very Good+
The Roger Corman-Phil Spector year of the mighty Ramones! End Of The Century is a huge departure from the 1-2-3-4 burst and roar of the first 4 Ramones albums – a big ol' Phil Spector production – recorded concurrently with the filming of late 70s hottie PJ Soles dancing around in her ... Nashville Skyline
Columbia, 1969. Very Good+
Dylan's wonderful foray into country rock – the great Nashville Skyline! Maiden Voyage
Blue Note, 1965. Very Good-

Ear Wax/Wonderland, Late 70s. Sealed
