LP (Item 720852) Sinecure/Now Again, 1960s/1970s/1980s — Condition: Near Mint-
Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A very weird little compilation – one that features cover versions of Michael Jackson songs! Oddly, there's no proper notes or details on some of the artists – but the music kind of speaks for itself, and the set offers a great twist on some of Jackson's better known work. Titles ... It's Wu-Tang's world, and we just live in it – as we're reminded again by this great series of older funky cuts sampled by the group! As with other volumes, most of these numbers emerged at some point or another in Wu-Tang and related productions – but this set presents the full ... LP, Vinyl record album
One of the best-ever compilations of funky work from BGP Records – and even better than their other Super Breaks sets! This one features some totally rare killers – not only from hard-to-find funky 45s, but also from obscure studio tapes that have never been properly issued! The set's ... LP, Vinyl record album
Rare funk from one of the greatest labels in the business! King Records is known to many for its classic work with singers like James Brown, Hank Ballard, and Wynonie Harris – but during the later years of the label, they also pressed up a great amount of excellent funky 45s, including many ... A great UK-only collection of rare jazz and funk – worth it alone for "Odyssey (part 1)" by Johnny Harris! Other cuts include "Palos" by Willie Bobo, "To Prove My Love" by Ned Doheny, "In The Center" by Rodney Franklin, "You Are The Reason" ... LP, Vinyl record album
Don't let the Euro-looking guys on the cover put you off, because this is one massively soulful set – filled with jazzy grooves that are mostly from the good ol' US of A! Most of the work here is from the super-deep Fantasy Records catalog – and much of it is from the 70s too – ... LP, Vinyl record album
A set that's got one of the more obtuse presentations we've ever seen from Numero – and that's saying a lot, given some of their releases in recent years – but a record that actually takes them back to the kind of rare funk and soul that made us fall in love with the label in the first ...
