This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
One of Dean's biggest hits – "Everybody Loves Somebody" – on an album with other great ones that include "Shutters & Boards", "Siesta Fiesta", "My Heart Cries For You", "From Lover To Lover", and "Just Close Your Eyes". LP, Vinyl record album
The roots of Dino's country style with arrangements by Don Costa. The style here is different from the hit Jimmy Bowman sound of Dean's stone cold country work of the mid to late 60s for Reprise – with a feel that's a bit more in the country pop vocal mode of 50s singers like Jim Reeves or ... LP, Vinyl record album
Easy to dream with Dean Martin with the record's this mellow – a great late night session that really shows Dino sparkling on a set of laidback ballads and love tunes! The style's a great reminder that Martin could be as good of a ballad singer as he was an upbeat jokester and hipster – ... LP, Vinyl record album
A playfully swinging little set from Morgana King – given the groovy, latenight lounge Reprise sound by producer Jimmy Bowen! This second album for Reprise is a much more extroverted than the quite strong It's A Quiet Thing LP from a year before – with arranger Torrie Zito grooving out ... LP, Vinyl record album
A beautiful little album that shows a whole new side of Sinatra! Frank's a bit late on the bossa game – but the record's a wonderfully gentle batch of bossa nova tunes, performed with musical and occasional vocal accompaniment by Jobim, and larger orchestral backings by Claus Ogerman. Far ... LP, Vinyl record album
A near-lost album from Sammy's years at Reprise – and an album that's got that nice bouncey style that the label was using with Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra in the 60s! A lot of the thanks goes to producer Sonny Burke, who inflects Sammy's vocals with a punched-up set of rhythms that makes ... LP, Vinyl record album
This was Sinatra's first swing record for Reprise and his third collaboration with Billy May who arranged and conducted this 1961 recording. It features some standards from the likes of Rodgers & Hart ("Have You Met Miss Jones?") and George & Ira Gershwin ("Love Walked ... LP, Vinyl record album
A great little record by Bobby – recorded hot on the heels of his big hit recording of "If I Were A Carpenter", and with a surprising respect for Tim Hardin and a lot of the other young songwriters of the post-folk years. Keep in mind that Darin was really feeling his mortality at ... LP, Vinyl record album
A great early set from singer Ernestine Anderson – material recorded in Sweden with a sound that's even more sweetly swinging than some of her American albums of the time! The backings on most tracks are by Harry Arnold – one of the hippest Swedish leaders of the time, and an arranger ... LP, Vinyl record album
A classic set by Nancy, set to arrangements by Billy May, and mostly featuring an assortment of standards, all done by Wilson with that sophistisoul touch that made her work so great! The real standout here is the impeccable "Guess Who I Saw Today", one of those tunes that Nancy takes ... LP, Vinyl record album
