If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
Maybe the coolest record we've ever heard from this mod British combo – a set that gets way past the easy retro references of previous albums, and goes for a vibe that's quite complicated, but still pretty darn groovy! The set's got the look and feel of the best jazzy soundtracks of the 60s ... CD
Textural mood funk from the team of Shawn Lee and Clutchy Hopkins – the second collaborative batch from this dynamic and well matched duo! We loved Clutch Of The Tiger, but they take a profound step forward on Fascinating Fingers – if they were feeling each others styles out on that ... CD
Lance Ferguson has given us plenty of great work over the years – from his work in The Bamboos, to all his many other projects – yet as much as we've liked all of those, this one might actually be one of his best – a fantastic reworking of rare groove tracks from the 70s, all with ... CD
A really fantastic full length set from Bobby Oroza – a moody take on blue-eyed soul, with a vibe that's completely its own! Oroza has some fantastic help here – production and music by Cold Diamond & Mink, the combo who've given such a fantastic sound to Timmion Records soul ... CD
The spacey work of Swiss trumpeter Erik Truffaz gets the remix treatment, in a great set of chillout grooves! Truffaz has a great sound – kind of a blend of late 60s Miles Davis, and mid 70s Eddie Henderson – and his first few albums for Blue Note France have been some of our favorite ... CD
Great stuff from one of the funkiest combos around! Soulive are part of the second wave of US jam-band funk acts – the sort of groovy groups that have been springing up in the wake of Medeski, Martin, & Wood's success over the past 10 years – and the combo's got a tight no-nonsense ... CD
A classic "with strings" session from Clifford Brown – nearly as well-done and perfect as some of Charlie Parker's sides for Verve, handled here with perhaps a slightly sweeter touch, as Neal Hefti's the man on arrangements. The core group's the Brown/Roach combo, augmented by a ... CD
A partner album of sorts to Jimmy Smith's classic Midnight Special album – recorded during the same sessions as that one, and also featuring Stanley Turrentine on tenor and Kenny Burrell on guitar! The sound here is almost even more open and stretched out – with only 4 long tracks on ... CD
