This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

One of their uptempo groovers from the mid 70's, with a mix of classic Detroit group soul and tighter disco sounds that were creeping into the Westbound label at the time. By the time of this one, Dennis had been producing a fair bit of club tracks for Westbound – and it certainly shows in the record, which has a smoother sound than before, and a more spacious soulful groove. However, there's actually still a fair bit of funk in the mix – and Dennis' own ... LP, Vinyl record album
An excellent smooth soul groover from Johnny Bristol! The album has Johnny stepping into a more sophisticated groove than he used on his early 70s albums for MGM – mixing together styles that sound a lot like those used by artists like Leroy Hutson or Leon Ware at the time, a mix of well-prod ... LP, Vinyl record album
This is the second of two live albums that Marvin Gaye cut during the 70s – and in many ways, it's the better one! The record features three sides of work recorded live at the London Palladium – mostly in these swirling medleys that are introduced by Marvin in a very soulful mode, then ... LP, Vinyl record album
Surprisingly nice album of modern soul grooves cut by the man who's best known for the classic Motown track "Money". Barrett sings in a nice smooth style different from his older work, and he's playing with a nice LA group that has a smooth groove to it, and which features Wah Wah Watson ... LP, Vinyl record album
Smooth funky soul, with a nice mid-tempo club groove to it. Lots of popping basslines and rolling instrumental lines, with cheery vocals by Larry and the band. A really wonderful little album from Randy Crawford – a lot jazzier than previous work, and done in a style that has Randy's vocals backed by small electric combo work on most cuts! Players on the set are a great batch of top-shelf fusion players – and include Don Grusin, William D ... LP, Vinyl record album
A stone classic from Alicia Myers – one of her classic sets recorded during the MCA years of the mighty One Way empire! Aretha Arrives in great style – and a mixture between her earlier vocal jazz years at Columbia, and her later southern soul sides of the 60s!
