Love Crazy (hardcore mix, without rap, without piano, 12" mix, string mix)/Under Your Spell

12-inch (Item 699950) Reprise, 1991 — Condition: Near Mint-
(pic cover)

(Cover has a promo stamp.)

Near Mint - (minus)

  • Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
  • Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
  • One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so. These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play, but might detract from the looks.
  • May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record. (Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
  • May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
  • Possible minor surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

A hard-to-find single that features 2 of Heatwave's best tracks! "Ain't No Half Steppin" is from their first LP – and it's a great little funk number that was sampled to big big fame by Big Daddy Kane, and which has become a funky favorite ever since! "Mind Blowing ... 12-inch, Vinyl record

Killer funky cuts, back to back! "Glide" is an upbeat dancefloor tune that was one of the group's most popular numbers, backed here with another uptempo groover that's got lots of wah wah guitar moving really fast, and slick flanged-up vocals that groove in the band's best late mode. 12-inch, Vinyl record
Underground, Late 80s. Very Good
Spare early Chicago house from Tyree Cooper, with the classic stripped down 909 sounds, but without the really deep acid sound that would later dominate the scene. 12-inch, Vinyl record

A sweet 80s groove number from Patrice Rushen off what we like to think of as one of her last truly great albums – Now – a solid commercial soul LP with lots of nice jazzy touches!
