Goblin Tour 2013 EP (red colored vinyl)

LP (Item 697749) Death Waltz (UK), 2013 — Condition: Sealed

Legendary Italian prog combo Goblin – reunited in the studio on the cusp of their 2013 tour – and sounding as vital as ever! This great EP is a slight departure for the Death Waltz label – in that it's a contemporary set, rather than a straight up soundtrack – but the group themselves are revisiting their soundtrack classics. It includes new versions of 3 classics from their Dario Argento canon – "Profondo Rosso", "Suspiria" and "Tenebre" – plus "Roller" – the title track from what's probably their greatest non-soundtrack album.  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Sealed

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Alex North's wonderful score for the Elia Kazan production of Streetcar Named Desire – a soundtrack that's filled with a fair bit of jazz touches, and which almost comes off with an Elmer Bernstein sort of feel! One of the coolest late 50s soundtrack albums we've come across in a long time – Dimitri Tiomkin's soaring, sweeping and spacey orchestral scores for the big budget animated short subject industrial film Rhapsody Of Steel! An excellent Bruce Lee soundtrack score – with a style that's different than the more famous Lalo Schifrin one, and with some very groovy moments! Capitol, 1978. Very Good-
Man and machine – a perfect summation of the Kraftwerk genius, delivered perfectly on this classic late 70s set!
