Night After Night – Live!

LP (Item 697041) EG/Polydor, 1979 — Condition: Very Good
...

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Style Council

Our Favourite Shop
Polydor (UK), 1985. Very Good+ Gatefold
A blue-eyed soul classic from the UK scene of the 80s – probably the last truly great album from The Style Council, and a great blend of 60s influences with the post-Jam sound of Paul Weller. The album's got a bit more polish than before, but still none of the too-poppy modes that would mar ... LP, Vinyl record album

John Mayall

Jazz Blues Fusion
Polydor, 1972. Very Good+
The title certainly gets it right – as the album definitely brings a bit of jazz into the mix for the great John Mayall – given that the set features strong work from funky jazz heavyweights Blue Mitchell on trumpet and Freddy Robinson on guitar! Both are musicians that we love for ... LP, Vinyl record album

Link Wray

Link Wray
Polydor, 1971. Very Good+ Gatefold
A weird and wild little record – and one that came as quite a surprise to folks who'd previously known Link Wray as the king of the raunchy guitar instrumental in the 60s! Here, Link sings as well as plays – working in his legendary Three Track Shack, which was located in Maryland, but ... LP, Vinyl record album

Link Wray

Link Wray Rumble
Polydor, 1974. Very Good+
A really cool 70s album from the great Link Wray – done at the time when he was reinventing himself, and changing from a damn great instrumental guitarist to a singer as well – one with a much bolder presence in the limelight than ever before! Wray serves up some fantastic electric ... LP, Vinyl record album
