If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially

Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
One of our favorite albums ever from Rufus and Chaka Khan – a sublime 70s set in which the group's sound totally comes together, and finds a really special sound that's all its own! The blend of elements here is perfect – the group's funky jazz instrumentation, and Chaka Khan's warm ... CD
An excellent set of 80s groove – produced here by Larry Blackmon, with a very Cameo-styled touch – under a title that definitely shows the big shift in the funk scene over to the west coast at the start of the 80s! LA Connection really have a great way of blending things together ... CD
An amazing debut from Rufus – a group so great, they were virtually a genre unto themselves during the 70s! Rufus came from the same totally hip Chicago scene that gave the world Minnie Riperton and Earth Wind & Fire – and like both of those greats, these guys have a way of drawing ... CD
10 classic mellow tunes from Al Hudson & One Way – just the sort of material that shows why the combo were such underground stars back in the day! The set's got a nice focus on some of the group's mellower cuts – sweetly stepping numbers that have a wonderfully mellow glide and a ... CD
Groove-happy soul – a 14 track collection that brings together some of the best dancefloor numbers from Al Hudson's group One Way, plus a few solo tunes by one of its best singers, Alicia Myers! Hudson had a unique style that wasn't really disco, wasn't really funk – but took elements ... CD
A bit more mainstream than the first album from Second Image – but a set that still retains most of the group's charm! The best tracks here are sort of a laidback take on more forceful 80s groove modes – keyboards and basslines that snap nicely, but never go too far over the top – ... CD
A bit tighter and more conventional soul than earlier work by Starpoint, but still pretty darn great too – and great proof that the group were more on top of their bag than other funky combos of the type! Renee Diggs is strongly out front on vocals throughout – lending her sweet sound ... CD
One of Bill Withers' greatest albums of the 70s – a set that has hip stepping off the acoustic sound of his Sussex records, into a warm and jazzy style that we like every bit as much as his earlier work! The album's got a wonderfully sophisticated jazzy vibe, and includes the excellent cut ... CD
