Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.

A lost little gem from Chet Baker – recorded with a gentle, homey feel that we really like! The album's not one of the standouts in Chet's catalog, but it's got a personal, almost intimate quality that we find really compelling – almost a broken soul sense of playing, with Chet ... CD
One of Chet Baker's rarest albums – and a great one! The session was recorded in Rome in 1962, at a time when Chet's star had fallen quite a bit on the American scene, and it features him working with some of the hippest European players at the time – like Rene Thomas on guitar, Bobby ... CD

Nice 14 track compilation that brings together a lot of the best instrumental tracks from Chet's early years – and a good counterpoint to the Chet Baker Sings collection, which has also been issued recently. Chet's trumpet style here is light, lovely, and lyrical – with a sad haunting ... CD
Maybe one of the greatest albums of Chet Baker vocal material you could ever hope to buy – a fantastic testament of the young talent at the top of his game – effortlessly moving between well-conceived trumpet solos and those fantastic vocals that were unlike any other singer at the time! ... CD
Tommy Gwaltney's Kansas City Nine with Buck Clayton
Trad revival material by this group that featured Buck Clayton on trumpet, Dickie Wells on trombone, Tommy Newson on tenor, Charlie Byrd on guitar, and Gwaltney on alto, clarinet, and vibes. Tracks are short and include some originals, written in a classic 30s KC mode – plus a few older ... CD
Easily one of the most modern recordings made by pianist Don Friedman in his early years – a set of forward-thinking numbers done with a quartet that includes guitar Atilla Zoller! As with Zoller's own work from the time, there's a freewheeling approach here that slides effortlessly between ... CD
Hard to find Riverside LP of this group led by Gigi Gryce running down nice hard bop numbers. There's no dry academic performances here, not that you'd guess that from the line-up, but the title kind of leads you in that direction. Donald Byrd and Gryce are playing nice and hard up front, with ... CD
