Love Trilogy

CD (Item 687387) Casablanca/Polygram, 1976 — Condition: Used
$6.99 ...

CD

A mid 70s classic from Donna Summer – and a follow up to her huge, chart-toppiong Love To Love You Baby – and once again produced by Giorgio Moroder! The record didn't hit the commercial heights of the preceding one, though they did utilize the same sort of Euro-disco approach – and it sounds just as great to us! The first half is a longer suite of 4 tracks – "Try Me", "I Know", "We Can Make It" and "Try Me, I Know We Can Make It", and side 2 features 4 more numbers "Prelude To Love", "Could It Be Magic", "Wasted" and "Come With Me".  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Out of print.)

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD". This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.

Polygram, 1984. Used
A bit dated, but an indisputable classic from Cameo – one that has them changing up their sound from earlier albums! The heavier funk of some of their late 70s sides is long gone, and in its place is a more stripped-down style that relies more on electric percussion and keyboards to update ... CD

Gratitude
Columbia, 1975. Used
Great stuff! Although a live album, Gratitude is one of Earth Wind & Fire's greatest from the mid 70s – a very tight batch of grooves that proves that Maurice White & Co. could play just as well on stage as they could in the studio – and the noise of the crowd going wild is ... CD
