✈

The first-ever solo album from Paul Simon – and a set that really showed the world he had a heck of a lot to offer on his own! Simon's still got all the great warm, personal tones of his late years with Art Garfunkel – but has also found a way to make things even more individual, too – sometimes borrowing from some other genres the previous pair never would have touched – sometimes just getting laidback and mellow, in a way that showcases his wonderfully maturing vocals! Tracks include the surprisingly funky "Me & Julio Down By The Schoolyard" – plus "Mother & Child Reunion", "Duncan", "Congratulations", "Paranoia Blues", "Papa Hobo", and "Everything Put Together Falls Apart" – plus demos of "Me & Julio" and "Duncan", as well as an unreleased version of "Paranoia Blues".  © 1996-2021, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(2004 digipack version with 3 bonus tracks.)

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD". This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer Used CDs in the best shape possible.

When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs — so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.

All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

Little Feat

Little Feat
Warner, 1971. Used
The first album from the great, freewheeling, genre-defying Little Feat! This album, like all the others from Little Feat, isn't easy to pigeonhole – rolling from sun-toasted country rock to roadhouse-y blues and beyond – in a way that feels perfectly right and natural. It's not as ... CD

Sailin Shoes
Warner, 1972. Used
The second album from Little Feat – and it's a great one! Loose roadhouse bluesy and country rock-styled songs – infused with their own weirdness! This is one of those great examples of a band that not only loved, but could play down home American music of many kinds – and add ... CD

Moondance
Warner, Early 70s. Used
