This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
Raw, funky deep soul from Brooklyn based Tre Williams and the Revelations – with a sound rooted in the classic southern sounds of Hi Records and others, but feels fresh and current – not so much in the throwback vein of others in the soul and funk underground – but a timelessly ... CD
An overlooked mid 90s set from The Brand New Heavies – not as hitbound as some of their earlier work, but still plenty darn great – recorded with a strong emphasis on the vocals, and a no-nonsense soul sound that's always refreshing! There's one or two instrumentals on the album, but ... CD

A great album gets even better – as Bluey and crew open the door, and let in a host of great guest talents to remix their impeccable Who Needs Love album! The set's got all the soulful magic of the original – a lasting groove that goes deeper than any of Incognito's recent albums, and ... CD
A great soul singer, and one with a very positive vibe – a sound that maybe grabs us the same way we felt when we first heard Jill Scott – and that's saying a heck of a lot! As you might guess from the title, K Avett's a singer who's not to be taken lightly – yet while her ... CD
The work of Incognito gets remixed – taking Bluey's soulful vision to a whole new level! The tracks are a good mix of NuSoul, two-step, and a bit of modern house – and titles include "Port Louis" remixed by United Future Organization, "Nights Over Egypt" remixed by ... CD
Tripped-out headphone soul from the mighty Musiq – sounding better than ever on this album, and well earning the title of Soulstar! Musiq's really got his groove in place here – a warm, mellow, bubbling approach that recalls the style of D'Angelo, but which has more "umph" in ... CD
One of the most compelling later albums on Philly International – a killer mix of jazzy numbers that have a very different style than most of the other Philly work at the time! Even though Leon Huff had been banging around in soul music for about 15 years – most famously as half of the ... CD
