A really interesting album – with the complicated MPB feel of some of the best work on Odeon at the time. The style here mixes rootsy instrumentation and vocals with some larger concepts and electric touches – including great piano and organ by Dom Salvador, and musical direction by Maestro Gaya and Orlando Silveira. Paulo's vocals have a nice honest quality to them, and tracks include "Como", "Quem Tem Um Olho E Rei", "Vou Me Embora", "Jose", and "Bahia Comigo". © 1996-2025, Dusty Groove, Inc.
