This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

Beautiful early duets from Caetano Veloso and Gal Costa – much more of a bossa-styled album than any of the late 60s Tropicalia albums from the pair! The set's got a really wonderful sort of feel – bossa at some level, but also with some of the gentle darkness that Caetano and Gal ... CD

The second set of madness from the legendary Os Mutantes – and like the first, an album done in close collaboration with arranger/producer Rogerio Duprat, whose talents add a new level of genius to the record! The album's got a compelling mix of styles that strikes out on the very first tune ... CD
A set of tracks dedicated to Elizeth Cardoso – sung by Zeze Gonzaga, who must have been a contemporary of hers, and arranged beautifully by Cristovao Bastos. The set's got the sophisticated, slightly-classic feel of other titles on the Biscoto Fino label – supervised by Olivia Hime ... CD
A later album by bossa legend Joao Gilberto – but with all the fragile brilliance of his best early work! The album features arrangements by Clare Fischer – the wonderful talent behind some of the best Brazilian-tinged jazz sessions of the 60s and 70s, a perfect accompanist to Joao's ... CD
Clara Moreno's working here with some famous help in the credits – but the sound of the album is definitely all her own, and even better than some of her other great sets in recent years! The style is mostly bossa, but served up with a slightly modern approach – not one that's ... CD
A beautiful recent live recording from bossa legend Joao Gilberto – the kind that shows that he's still very much in fine fine form! The set was recorded in Tokyo, and features Joao on voice and guitar – with no other instrumentation at all – replicating the feel of some of his ... CD
