Used CD Grade
We only use the grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs.
This all-encompassing grade was chosen it because we only buy and offer
used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or
defects we will describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs),
so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly.
If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
The great James Hunter – sounding even better than before – thanks to sock-solid soul production from Daptone Records! James already recorded at Daptone Studios before – for his previous record – but this set's completely in the hands of the label, from top to bottom – ... CD
An album that has the legendary Jean Carne in the most righteous setting we've heard in years – a mode that hearkens back to the vocals she provided for organist Doug Carn on their classic 70s albums together for the Black Jazz label! Jean's a singer that we love in just about any format ... CD
A very different entry in this always-great series – one that doesn't focus on a specific artist, or just the instrumentation of the two leaders – but instead has this great range of artists coming together in a very jazz-based style! Things here are even more organic and flowing than ... CD
Great stuff from one of the new European "funky young lions" of Blue Note France! Italian trumpeter Flavio Boltro lays down a killer set of modern funk grooves here – clearly played with one foot in the past, but the other firmly in a present that's filled with tight snapping drum ... CD
One of the hippest bands in the forefront of the brass band revival – a hard-hitting, no-nonsense group that goes way past the cliches of earlier years! The ensemble hails from Wisconsin – of all places – but plays in a percussion/horn frenzy that easily matches the best groups ... CD
A fantastic full length set from this hip French collective – an assemblage of musicians who draw equal inspiration from the worlds of jazz, funk, and global-styled grooves – then forge those influences into a really fresh sound of their own! The album's funky, but not in a familiar ... CD
A pretty tight little album from Nick Waterhouse – and even though his conga's apparently getting stolen in the cover phot, he's got more than enough of a combo to make up for that loss! The groove here is in a place between vintage soul and garagey rock – maybe garage soul, with Nick's ... CD
A killer batch of tracks from this young Swiss trumpeter – with a sound and style that recalls the best spacey jazz funk moments of the 70s! This is an all-instrumental US Blue Note release that combines the instrumental tracks from Truffaz's French Blue Note albums Bending New Corners and ... CD
Amazing work from Triorganico – an acoustic trio with deep respect for Brazilian grooves from years past – stepping out here as one of the most striking projects we've ever heard from the Stones Throw family of labels! There's a quality here that takes us right back to some of our ... CD
A well-titled set, given that the album is Soulive's first away from the Blue Note label – a surprisingly tight outing done for the mostly-mellow Concord imprint, and a real back-to-basics outing that we totally love! The group's in fine fine form for the record – working with that ... CD
