Nod Is As Good As A Wink To A Blind Horse

LP (Item 665321) Warner, 1971 — Condition: Very Good

(Later German pressing, missing poster.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Hey Spud boy! You need this record. Definitely underrated in the grand scheme, Oh No! finds the boys rocking a much more straightforward, nerdy computer funk sound. It sort of takes a page from the 80s Kraftwerk playbook with the grid-patterned 80s computer tomfoolery, albeit with a far more ... LP, Vinyl record album

A higher concept album than usual for the team of Beaver & Krause – a record that still features plenty of cool moog and electronics by the pair, but which also has them teamed up with arranger Jimmie Haskell in a set of tunes that mixes older themes with original numbers! The last album in The White Stripes incredible late 90s to mid 00s run – and they really went out on an epic high note – one of their very best records! Devolution is real! The title's a bit pandering, but that's part of the manifesto this time, and the record's sure to please any fans of Devo's older work – even if it might seem like some sort of easy attempt to recreate the sound of 1981! All the classic elements are in place here – ... LP, Vinyl record album

Remember the rock break craze? This was probably on your wants list then. Too bad too, cause it's not a bad bit of psychedelic rock, if you can keep from just dropping the needle looking for the clean drum parts.
