Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
A surprisingly nice album from the later years of Dionne Warwick's career – a set recorded at a time when the lady may have been a bit of a parody of herself on screen, but could still sound great in the studio! The approach is an extension of Warwick's Bacharach roots into a adult ... CD
A surprise mid 70s hit for Dionne Warwick – a warm and bubbling bit of soul, done with uptown maestro Jerry Ragovoy in a perfect AM pop style! The centerpiece of the album is the super-hit tune "Then Came You" – a duet with The Spinners produced and arranged by Thom Bell at ... CD
Five albums into Dionne Warwick's classic run for Scepter Records, and she's still sounding great – head and shoulders above most other female pop singers of her generation, with a style that really sets a whole new standard for the time! Burt Bacharach handled most of the arrangements here ... CD
Two early albums by Dionne on one CD! Long before she started calling her friends on the Psychic Network, she was laying down these picture perfect Bacharach/David ditties for the Scepter label. There have been lots of "best of" comps of her work, but they always leave out the good ... CD
A set that's late in the classic Zapp run from the 80s, but a record that's still very much head and shoulders above the competition – including the many acts who were trying to cop Roger Troutman's groove, but never got things this right! There's still plenty of bass at the bottom, re-fitted ... CD
Crackin definitely have a special touch on this 70s set – a way of mixing together funk, soul, and jazz influences – all in a groove that's every bit as tight as contemporaries like Rufus or Average White Band, even though Crackin never reached the heights that they did! The core ... CD
One of the greatest albums ever from the legendary soul singer Curtis Mayfield – even though it's different than most of the rest as well! Curtis is captured here in a small club, with a tight band, spinning out these extended readings of some of his best tunes – both tracks he sang ... CD
