This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

An album that was issued in the US, but which actually features excellent work that Abdullah Ibrahim/Dollar Brand recorded for the Gallo label in South Africa – the kind of edgier work that we often prefer next to some of his solo and trio material! A nice, if a bit obscure, recording featuring Bluiett's compositions for a larger group, with a stellar lineup that includes Chief Bey, Michael Carvin, Ahmed Abdul-Malik, Abdul Wadud, Reggie Workman, Olu Dara, Don Pullen and others. There's a strong pulse and some heavy African influence here, ... LP, Vinyl record album
Great US issue of 2 different albums that Webster recorded in Europe near the end of his life – Blow Ben Blow and For The Guv'nor. The albums were both recorded in 1969, and both with that kind of open-ended European "focus on the master soloist" approach that was gaining favor at ... LP, Vinyl record album
Two of LA's leading soul jazz luminaries – playing head to head in an interesting session that mixes lines on piano and organ! McCann gives the set a good rollicking rhythm, and Holmes' increasing skill on the Hammond makes the set blow out over the top – and the pair get backing by ... LP, Vinyl record album
Features Gordon Brisker on tenor and flute – with Tom Harrell on trumpet, John Eidsvoog on keyboards, David Loeb on piano and Rhodes, Bob Bowman on bass, and Peter Donald on drums! LP, Vinyl record album
An unusual record – one that features a few spoken passages by Quincy Jones, Henry Mancini, and Johnny Mathis – plus large ensemble readings of "Three Symphonic Dances" by Claus Ogerman, "An American Concerto" by Pat Williams, and El Gamino" by Dick Grove. ... LP, Vinyl record album
An obscure set from the strong 80s years of the Dutch scene – a group led by JC Tans on tenor, with Boy Raaymakers on trumpet, Wolter Wierbos on trombone, Sean Bergin on alto, and Paul Stocker on baritone. LP, Vinyl record album
