A beautiful score to this lesser-known Marcello Mastroianni film from 1970 – sublime sounds from the great Armando Trovajoli – done in a beautiful mix of electric keyboards, wordless vocals, and dreamy orchestrations! The set's got this warmly stepping groove that's really tremendous – spacious sounds that draw on Trovajoli's previous bossa work, with some more electric 70s elements at times – but never too much at all.
