Way more than just a standard trio album from pianist Red Garland – as the set also features excellent work from a young John Coltrane on tenor, plus trumpet from Donald Byrd! The group is nice for the date – a bit more bite than usual, with George Joyner on bass and Art Taylor on drums – on long tunes that include "Billie's Bounce", "CTA" and a the nice, long slow burner "Lazy Mae". All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
