If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
A round two knockout for Gnarls Barkley – an album we think is better than the landmark St Elsewhere LP – boisterous pop art & soul from Danger Mouse and Cee-Lo! We were slightly trepid when the Odd Couple was announced, fearing a hasty attempt to rekindle the magic that clearly ... CD
Nappy Roots hugely improves on the debut with album number two! The debut was a bit candy-coated for our hip hop taste, but the Nappy Roots take a pretty surprising deep/dark turn on Wooden Leather. We wouldn't have thought to include these guys with our favorite Dirty South crews before, but ... CD
For all you fans of Miami Bass. Includes "Something To Get You Hyped", "It Just Wasn't Our Day", "B Girls", "Cold Get Ill", "Gimme Them Guts", "Funky Az Bass Line", "Louie, Louie" and "Poison Ivy (rmx)". CD
Pick any 10 words out of any Outkast album description on our pages at random, and you'll see how dearly we've loved these boys throughout the years – but truth be told, deep down we didn't think that they would be able to pull off the double album/solo album project(s). We were seriously ... CD
"5 years" – starts off with some funny excerpts of interviews with people about what hip hop will be like in five years then goes into a rhyme about going to a hip hop show in 2004 – sort of like "I Used To Love HER" in reverse. The LP is filled with skits that ... CD
A nice mid 90s hip hop album that seems to have become a bit of a bench warmer, though we'd say it deserves starting status for the class of '94. One of Easy Mo Bee's best set of tracks, and nice rhymes from Craig Mack! Includes the classic "Flava In Ya Ear", the cautionary "When ... CD
A sharp, angry salvo from Ice Cube! Cube's early 90s solo style was firmly established at this point, so Lethal Injection doesn't have the acknowledged classic status of his previous couple albums, but he's still close to his prime that it's well worth your dollar! As you'd guess from the title, ... CD
