This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so.
These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play,
but might detract from the looks.
May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be
intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under
the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record.
(Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
Possible minor surface noise when played.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A nice later set from the mighty burner, after he returned to the more bluesy organ based format from the more R&B and fusion inflected sets he'd released throughout the late 70s and early 80s. Though the rough edges are a bit more smoothed out on some of the numbers than we'd care for, the ... LP, Vinyl record album

A 2LP set that features tracks from the original Soulmates album by Webster & Joe Zawinul – plus a few unreleased tracks! The tracks here are ... LP, Vinyl record album
An interesting concept record, with Konitz approaching a variety of material, much of it written by his collaborators, in wide open duet settings. Players include Jim Hall, Joe Henderson, Elvin Jones and Richie Kamuca, and on each piece, both Konitz and his companion have loads of room to ... LP, Vinyl record album
Moody solo piano tracks by a young Ran Blake. Unusual stuff for Milestone at the time, but very nice material, with some thoughtful improvisaionl. Tracks include "The Blue Potato", "Three Seeds", "Soul On Ice", "Never On Sunday", and a nice version of " ... LP, Vinyl record album
A nice little session from Lee Konitz – simple, without many tricks, and a great 70s extension of the sound of his 50s work! The group's a quartet with Sal Mosca on piano – and on a number of tracks, the pair of them play together alone, Lee blowing introspectively, and Sal working in ... LP, Vinyl record album
A great bit of 70s electric work from Quincy – and probably his funkiest album ever! Quincy's really stepping out here from the straighter and spacier styles of earlier records – going for more of the dirty grooves he was cutting up for soundtrack albums, and hitting notes that were a ... Stunning stuff – and one of the few great records that vibist Freddie McCoy cut for Prestige! Very different than the usual funky vibesmen, Freddie's got a style that leads itself nicely to modal pop soul jazz – as you'll hear on the short little groovers that fill up this album, all ... One of the grooviest albums ever from the pair of Vince Guaraldi and Bola Sete – a set of longer-than-usual tunes that really lets both players open up nicely! The setting is quite spare – just bass and drums behind Bola's guitar and Vince's piano – although there's a bossa/samba ... LP, Vinyl record album
A rare one for Sonny Stitt – an album for Pacific Jazz recorded on the west coast, but done with some hard-burning organ work by Charles Kynard that easily matches any of Stitt's best soul jazz sides from the east! There's a tightly cooking feel to the entire set that's really great – ... LP, Vinyl record album
