We're not sure if this was ever issued as a discrete album under this title or not – although the notes seem to indicate that that was the case. But to our record-collecting ears, the album seems to contain mostly material from the album that was originally titled Kelly At Midnight. The session dates from 1961, and features Kelly in a trio with Jimmy Cobb and Paul Chambers – grooving on soul jazz versions of tracks like "Someday My Prince Will Come", "Gone With The Wind", "Sassy", and "On Stage". The CD also features a quintet number with Lee Morgan and Wayne Shorter – titled "Wrinkles". © 1996-2024, Dusty Groove, Inc.
