Last Sweet Days Of Isaac

LP (Item 631745) RCA, 1970 — Condition: Sealed

Features some nice electric piano and harpsichord alongside the vocals!  © 1996-2020, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Shrinkwrap has a small hole on the top right corner.)

Sealed

This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap. We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time, we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape — which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played, the record will still qualify as "Sealed".

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Henry Mancini

Visions Of Eight
RCA, 1973. Near Mint- Gatefold
A wonderful Henry Mancini soundtrack, and one of his most overlooked – possibly because it was scored for an odd little film that featured the work of eight different directors! The mood of the film changes a lot based on the directorial style, but the score's got some really wonderful ... LP, Vinyl record album
RCA, 1968. Very Good+
The original film soundtrack to the original version of The Producers – the classic that featured Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder in the main roles, and Dick Shawn as the show's Hitler! RCA, 1968. Sealed
A groovy little Italian soundtrack – straight in some parts, but very nice in others! John Barry

Petulia
Warner, 1968. Near Mint-
A pretty compelling John Barry score – written for this strange semi-comedy which starred George C Scott and Julie Christie, and which was directed by Richard Lester. The music is a mixture of groovy themes and slower numbers that still have a modulated groovy approach – strings ... LP, Vinyl record album

Simon & Garfunkel/Dave Grusin

Graduate – Original Soundtrack
Columbia, Late 60s. Very Good
A tremendous little soundtrack – even if you've seen it a million times! Simon & Garfunkel always had a really dark quality to their music, but it never seemed to show as much on the pop charts as it did when used brilliantly by Mike Nichols in this important film. Their tunes emerge in ... LP, Vinyl record album

John Addison

Smashing Time
ABC, Late 60s. Near Mint-
Mod 60s all the way – as the film stars Michael York, Rita Tushingham, and Lynn Redgrave! The score is by John Addison, and actually more than half of the numbers are vocal ones – featuring the girls singing in series of whimsical tunes that are sort of a 60s take on the Merry Old ...
