This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
A great introduction to the voice of Gabriel Tajeu – a singer who has this way of grabbing us right from the very first note, with a vibe that's classic enough to have made him huge way back in the 70s! Gabriel's music has a sound that's as sunny as the image on the cover – a style ... CD
Maybe the coolest record we've ever heard from this mod British combo – a set that gets way past the easy retro references of previous albums, and goes for a vibe that's quite complicated, but still pretty darn groovy! The set's got the look and feel of the best jazzy soundtracks of the 60s ... CD

A bold step forward from Lack Of Afro – the modern funk & soul vehicle of producer, DJ and song stylist Adam Gibbons! The slew of singles and trio of full lengths that we'd heard prior to This Time have all been really impressive – a mix of breakbeat funk era and classic ... CD
Killer jazz and soul work from Snowboy – some overlooked sides that are easily some of the best grooves of his scene at the time! Snowboy first got his start as a Latin percussionist – adding a lot of firey energy to the London jazz scene in the early Acid Jazz years – but by the ... CD
A searing set from The Baker Brothers – only the group's second album, but a smoking little live recording that almost blows away the first! These guys bring a new intensity to the deep funk scene – as they've got a command of their instruments that's so strong, they almost jam with ... CD
The most uncategorizable grooves in the canon of Guillermo Scott Herren – his Rhodes, Wurlitzer, and otherwise keys-and-drums centered Piano Overlord guise – and a collection of rare vinyl singles cut from 03-05! Maestro Scott wrote, plays, and produced all the tracks – done with ... CD
One of the hippest non-reissue records we've heard so far from the Jazzman Records empire – a massive set of grooves with a really odd sort of feel! Natural Yogurt Band work in spare, funky territory – serving up some very heavy drums (played by Wayne Fullwood, formerly of Little ... CD
Space funk specialist Mr Chop takes on the beatcraft genius of Pete Rock on For Pete's Sake – blueprint Pete Rock singles and benchmark beats – refashioned as fuzzed out psychedelic funk instrumentals! It works out masterfully, and very much in the mold of some of our other favorite ... CD
Another nice one from Sade – perhaps not as edgey as some of her earlier work, recorded in a slightly smoother style, but still quite nice to our ears – as Sade's always been a pleasure, no matter what the setting! Includes the nicely grooving "Nothing Can Come Between Us", ... CD
