We use the all-encompassing grade "Used CD" for non-new CDs because we only buy and offer used CDs in the best possible condition.
When you purchase a used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves), and the booklet to be in good shape. Used CDs may show some signs of use, but if there are significant details or defects we describe the item's condition (just like we do with LPs), so look for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details before ordering.
All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can
request a return
for a full refund.
Condition Notes
If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially
if it is release or packaging details,
or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the CD.
This might include, but isn't limited to, scratches, tracks that skip,
case/insert damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

The debut album from Sandy Graham – a singer who never broke big in the years to follow, but who really wins us over with this late 80s gem on Muse! The session's got the sort of simple, understated approach the label does best – a really classic way of recording a singer, but one that' ... CD
Beautiful bossa from Eliane Elias – and a great reminder of how much we love her work in this style! The set's recorded with a warmly lyrical feel – core backing by a small combo with Oscar Castro Neves on guitar, amidst fuller strings arranged by Rob Mathes – never too lush, and ... CD
Classic Billie Holiday for Verve – sad, blue-tinged, and recorded with great small combo backing – in a mode that really updates the sound of her initial recordings while still keeping the best elements intact! Players include Oscar Peterson, Alvin Stoller, Barney Kessell, and Ray ... CD
Classic tunes, in the hands of Nnenna Freelon – wonderfully transformed with a soulful spirit that's really wonderful! The approach here is still jazz at the core, but there's a freshness to the arrangements that makes the versions way more than just simple standards – the kind of ... CD
Vocalist Fay Victor pens lyrics for a jazz composer we're not sure we've ever heard with words before – modern piano legend Herbie Nichols, a player whose songs are often as full of angles and sharp changes as Thelonious Monk! And as you might guess from a style like that, the music doesn't ... CD
The wonderful mid-to-late 60s run of records Anita Kerr cut for Warner Brothers – And Now, Slightly Baroque, Burt Kaempfert Turns Us On, All You Need Is Love and Sounds – in great little box set! And Now The Anita Kerr Orchestra has less vocals than usual from Anita Kerr – but a ... CD
A great second pairing of this hip team – further proof that Tony Bennett was a hell of a jazz singer when he wanted to be! Titles include "You're Nearer", "Lonely Girl", "You Must Believe In Spring", "Two Lonely People", and "The Bad & The ... CD
