Bridge Of Sighs

LP (Item 626871) Chrysalis, 1974 — Condition: Very Good

(Original US green label pressing. Cover has surface and edge wear, a mostly split spine and a partially split top seam.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Electric Prunes (with David Axelrod)

Release Of An Oath
Reprise, 1968. Very Good+
The second album done by David Axelrod for The Electric Prunes – and arguably the best! The album's a bit unusual, in that none of the original Prunes were actually working on the session – and instead, Axlerod's almost fully at the helm – putting together the set in a way that's ... Paupers

Magic People
Verve/Forecast, Late 60s. Very Good+ Gatefold
Great great work by The Paupers – essentially a 60s folk rock combo, but one with a really groovy sound! The group come up with loads of great guitar interplay on the session – jangling acoustic and electric together in a style that comes up with some nice hippie and eastern edges ... Zombies
Parrot, 1965. Very Good+
The first US album by The Zombies – a brilliant little record that shows the group as way more than just a Brit Invasion combo! Off White
Ze, 1979. Near Mint-
Frenetic and energetic work from James White and the Blacks – a seminal album in the post-punk New York scene, and one of the fiercest documents of the no wave sound! Human League

Dare
A&M/Virgin, 1981. Very Good+ Gatefold
A masterpiece of synth pop – and a landmark album for the Human League! The record took the group from the Brit post-punk underground to the charts of the world – with a stark blend of noisy keyboards, spare beats, and Phil Okey's wonderfully flat and monotone vocals. And although the ... LP, Vinyl record album
