Loop FM 98 (pic disc)
LP (Item 624680) Loop FM 98, Late 70s — Condition: Very Good
May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean,
and not too dirty.
May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play,
but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep.
Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well,
with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song,
but never throughout a whole song or more.
This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times,
but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.
Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
A great early 70s entry from The Beach Boys – and a record that's nicely balanced between mature pop tunes and more experimental moments! The set kicks off with the sublime "Sail On Sailor" – a tightly compressed, wonderfully catchy number that's easily one of the group's ... LP, Vinyl record album
An excellent batch of funky rock from The Sunday Funnies – a group we only know from this album, but who have the distinction of being produced by the great Andrew Oldham! The set's got a feel that's in keeping with the sound of Motown's Rare Earth label – well-crafted and jamming work ... LP, Vinyl record album
You might not guess it by the records that tend to grace our pages, but we do love some Neil Young around the Dusty offices. And while we'd like to say it doesn't get much better than this prime mid 70s LP, the old man's delivered so many great recordings over the years that would be a mighty ... LP, Vinyl record album
The Who may look like they're tripping things out a bit with the cover and title to this one – clearly a nod to the Magical Mystery Tour-era Beatles – but the groove here is tight, right, and pretty darn mod all the way through – very much in the spirit of the group's earlier ... LP, Vinyl record album
Not experienced? Well, this album will help push you over the top – as it's done for decades of listeners from the heyday of young Jimi Hendrix all the way up to the present! The set's a classic through and through – a blueprint not just for the genius of Hendrix, but for generations ... LP, Vinyl record album
One of the most supremely classic of all classic hard rock albums! As huge as the debut was, Led Zeppelin II is the record that proved that the group were going to be in it for the long haul – with a righteous raw power that's still being felt all these many decades later! Nobody else could ... LP, Vinyl record album
A bittersweet farewell from The Beatles – a record that definitely shows the fracturing unity of the group, with lots of near-solo moments – but a set that also makes us really wonder what they'd have done with all this genius, had they managed to hold it together! There's great hints ... LP, Vinyl record album
A really great album as a leader from bassist Dave Holland – a musician who was really coming into his own at this point in his career, and using all the talents he'd developed in looser settings to help bring new focus to a group! The lineup here is exceptionally strong, and a really great ... LP, Vinyl record album
The Funky Quarters must have been a hell of a place – especially when Cal Tjader was bringing down the house with grooves this great! The record is one of Cal's best electric sides from the 70s – and it boasts some amazing work on Fender Rhodes from Al Zulaica – a player we only ... LP, Vinyl record album
