Led Zeppelin — Led Zeppelin ... CD 4.99

One of the most monumental debuts in rock history – a record that hit the world like a led zeppelin, and left an impression for years to come! Led Zeppelin pretty much took over rock right from the beginning – which isn't too surprising, given that Jimmy Page had an in-demand guitar heavy for years already – but the power of this debut is still astonishing after all these years – a blistering blend of bluesy roots, psych fuzz, and razor-sharp instrumental dexterity! The whole thing's a gem – and titles include "Good Times Bad Times", "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" "You Shook Me", "Dazed And Confused", "Your Time Is Gonna Come", "Black Mountain Side", and "I Can't Quit You Baby".  © 1996-2020, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Red & green Rockefeller label pressing, SD 8216. Cover has light wear and some tape on the seams. Label and back cover both have a small bit of marker.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Physical Graffiti
Swan Song/Atlantic, 1975. Very Good+ 2LP
Led Zeppelin at their most sprawling – in both ambition and in the pacing – on the gargantuan Physical Graffiti! The MC5 move to Atlantic Records after their first album – and find a whole new sort of focus that's pretty great! An analogue electronic classic – a huge crossover record from the early 70s, done with a pulsating, progressive sound that's a bit like the best early work by Tangerine Dream – but a fair bit tighter!
