England's Newest Hitmakers

LP (Item 616614) London, 1964 — Condition: Near Mint-
An early American set of work from The Rolling Stones – with titles that include versions of "You Can Make It If You Try", "Honest I Do", "Route 66", "Not Fade Away", "Walking The Dog", "I'm A King Bee", and "I Just Want To Make Love To You" – plus original cuts "Tell Me", "Little By Little", and "Now I've Got A Witness".  © 1996-2022, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Blue label reprocessed stereo pressing with Bell Sound stamp. Cover has some ring and edge wear.)

Near Mint - (minus)

  • Black vinyl that may show a slight amount of dust or dirt.
  • Should still be very shiny under a light, even with slight amount of dust on surface.
  • One or two small marks that would make an otherwise near perfect record slightly less so. These marks cannot be too deep, and should only be surface marks that won't affect play, but might detract from the looks.
  • May have some flaws and discoloration in the vinyl, but only those that would be intrinsic to the pressing. These should disappear when the record is tilted under the light, and will only show up when looking straight at the record. (Buddah and ABC pressings from the 70's are a good example of this.)
  • May have some slight marks from aging of the paper sleeve on the vinyl.
  • Possible minor surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Undercover
Rolling Stones, 1983. Very Good+
A bit of an odd album, but one that showed the Stones were alive and kicking in the 80s. Taking off from the Stones' take on disco from their previous couple of LPs but keeping a nice rough edge on the proceedings, Jagger and Richards turned in what's probably their last great studio LP. 10 ... Goats Head Soup
Rolling Stones, 1973. Near Mint-
A sometimes-overlooked classic from the Rolling Stones – but that's maybe just because it's sometimes obscured in the shadow of Exile On Main Street, the record that immediately preceded it! The fantastic first album from ZZ Top – already a heady mix of Texas blues and psych roots, served up into a style that's completely the group's own – but which hasn't yet been watered down by commercial cliches and MTV!
