Used Vinyl Grades
Below are stated conditions for a used vinyl records at Dusty Groove. Grading for
the cover should be assumed to be near (within a "+" or "-")
the grading for the vinyl.
If there is significant divergence from the condition of the vinyl, or specific flaws,
these will be noted in the comments section of the item. However, please be aware that
since the emphasis of this site is towards the music listener, our main concern is with

Additional Marks & Notes
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Nothing too peaceful here – at least not in a sleepy sort of way – as The Rascals are really hitting on all burners, and starting to mix a bit of funk in with their groove! The record's a great extension of the group's last work on Atlantic – and it takes that already-righteous ... LP, Vinyl record album
Genius jangle pop from the 60s – great harmonies, tight guitars, and a sound that's familiar but always fresh – the kind of record that should have rivaled bigger hits by The Monkees or Strawberry Alarm Clock! The Five Americans were an incredibly tight group even for their time – ... LP, Vinyl record album
Supreme love fest in action – and Brian's back at the production helm. Proof that therapy has some effect on the world – and with the tracks "Roller Skating Child", "Good Time", "Johnny Carson", "Night Was So Young", and "Airplane". LP, Vinyl record album
One of the oddest of the 70s concept albums by The Kinks – a set of tracks that takes Ray Davies and the band back to the school days of their youth – where they revisit frustrations, anger, and the disgrace in the title! The best moments here are the ones that unlock a bit of the ... LP, Vinyl record album

Titles include "Good Morning Starshine", "Nar ... LP, Vinyl record album
The title's an apt one – given that the record was the end of the tremendous run of records from Led Zeppelin – issued after the death of legendary drummer John Bomham – but the set's also way more than just an endpoint, as many of the tracks return to the group's beginning – ... LP, Vinyl record album
An under-discovered album from The Beach Boys – and one of our favorite records by the group! The set's kind of a slinking back to the personal, quirky territory of Smile, but with a somewhat more intimate, less-ambitious feel – one that comes off like a tapestry of simple expressions ... Weirdly wonderful sounds from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band – emerging here as a post-folk group who haven't really gone for sunshine pop, but who know how to use both their own harmonies and the strengths of the studio to their best advantage! There's definitely some catchy vocal bits that ... LP, Vinyl record album
