Gutter Water

CD (Item 615366) Decon, 2010 — Condition: Used
Out Of Stock

CD

Gritty, grainy, heavy hip hop from the duo of Alchemist & Oh No – working nicely together as Gangrene – in a timeless, no BS, but still mind-alteringly creative duo hip hop mode! As you might guess from the moniker and title, there's something of a dark humor vibe floating over the Gutter Water, but never too clever to take out out of a gritty and real hip hop mode. Includes "Boss Sh*t", "All Bad" and Chain Swinging" all with cuts by DJ Romes, "Get Into Some Gangster S**t" with Planet Asia, "Take Drugs", "Ransom", "Breathing Down Your Neck" feat MED, "Standing In The Shadows", "Brass Knuckle Rap" feat Guilty Simpson and more.  © 1996-2019, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Used CD Grade

We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD". This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.

With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.

Marvin Gaye

Midnight Love
Columbia, 1982. Used
Marvin Gaye's last album ever – and a sensuous batch of grooves that almost return him to the sound of Let's Get It On! The style here is a bit more modern, but the sound is still great – a smoother approach to soul than most of Gaye's contemporaries at the time, recorded in a way that ... CD

Ohio Players

Jass-Ay-Lay-Dee
Mercury, 1978. Used
While there was no naked bald lady on the cover of Jass-Ay-Lay-Dee, it is actually a move back towards the sweatier funk sounds of their more classic LPs.
