A very nice set of mellow west coast Latin vibes from Cal – sort of an updating of his classic 50s San Francisco groove on Fantasy, done with a host of California players that includes Roger Glenn, Poncho Sanchez, and Gary Foster. The record features a remake of Cal's big hit from the 60s ... LP, Vinyl record album

The tunes are familiar, but the ... LP, Vinyl record album
A much better record than you'd expect from the somewhat cheesy cover – one of Duke Pearson's funkiest sessions ever, and a hard swinging big band set with a great late 60s feel! The group is all-class all the way – with players that include Pearson, Bob Cranshaw, Mickey Roker, Marvin ... LP, Vinyl record album
