If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible. All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play
without skipping or flaws. If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove,
you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly — and if it does not,
then you may return it for a full refund.
With our Used CDs, you can expect the disc to be free of all but the lightest of
surface marks — clean, and not dirty at all. You can also expect the case to be
clean (we often change the cases ourselves — putting fresh cases on Used CDs we
handle) — and you can expect the booklet to be in good shape, unless noted
otherwise. We will list any specific details/defects underneath the item — so
look for notes on cutout marks in the case, stamps on the barcode, or details like that.

A tasty set of Jackie's more famous singles for Brunswick – and a lot more hard hitting than some of his other full LPs for the label at the time! Titles include "Lonely Teardrops", "Baby Workout", "Higher & Higher", "Whispers (Gettin' Louder)", ... CD
A huge discovery in vocal group material from the 50s – served up in this excellent series of tracks from the vaults of LA's Modern Records label! Most folks associate the early vocal group sounds with the east coast or Chicago scenes of the postwar years – but there was also plenty of ... CD
Great stuff! The folks at Goldmine always do a great job with their comps when they move away from the northern soul genre, and this one is no exception. The set compiles a stunning batch of 25 rare soul harmony tracks from the 60's, and they're all by obscure groups who only recorded 45s for ... CD
The sound of soulful LA in the 60s – 24 tracks pulled from the Kris Records label catalog, home to some very tasty groovers with a solid Northern feel! The package includes tracks from the start of the label up to the early 70s – and features a variety of strong solo acts that we'd ... CD
Sublime work from The Dreamlovers – a key Philly group who made the transition strongly from doo wop to 60s group soul! The set begins with some of the group's earliest material – issued by the first version of Jerry Ross' Heritage Records – but even more interesting is the later ... CD
Two classic albums from Tower Of Power – back to back in a single set, and with bonus tracks too! On the first album, Bump City, Tower Of Power move down to Memphis for the recording – and almost pick up a bit of Stax Records vibe in the process! The Memphis location is a key hint to ... CD
Another incredible volume in the Soulful Thangs series – easily one of the greatest for late nite soul and rare harmony vocals! The package has a beautifully drifting sound throughout – that mellow as mellow can be soul that was made most perfectly at the end of the 60s and into the ... CD
