This is what it says, that the record is still held fast in shrink-wrap.
We tend to be pretty suspicious about these things, so if the shrink-wrap doesn't
look original, or if the record seems to have undergone some damage over time,
we'll probably take it out of the wrapper to ensure that it's in good shape —
which is why we don't have more of these. In some cases the shrink-wrap may be
torn in spots, but if it's not possible the record has been taken out and played,
the record will still qualify as "Sealed".
Condition Notes
If something is relevant, we try to describe it in the notes — especially
if it is release or pressing details,
or an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
An album of surprising brilliance – recorded late in the career of Yes, but one of the group's biggest hits ever! And while we've always been fans of Anderson, Squire, & Co, we're also ready to admit that the real star here is Trevor Horn – who produced the album and put the whole ... LP, Vinyl record album
Titles include "Blood On The Rooftops", "Wot Gorilla", "Afterglow", "In That Quiet Earth", "Your Own Special Way", "All In A Mouse's Night", and "Eleventh Earl Of Mar". LP, Vinyl record album
Things are getting slightly more complicated for the Bee Gees here – but we mean that in a good way! The vocals are superb – soaring forth with this unique sort of majesty, and light years away from their 70s disco pop styles – and the backings are a strange mix of rootsy and ... LP, Vinyl record album
Heavy sounds from Iron Butterfly – a record that's not nearly as well known as their classic In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida – but which has a very similar vibe all the way through! The songs are a bit shorter, but these guys really manage to do a lot with a little – using lots of brooding ... LP, Vinyl record album
Maybe one of the purest expressions of the genius of Bonnie and Delaney Bramlett – an album that was recorded to feel like it was done in a motel room – with a stripped-down vibe that really gets at the best energy of the pair! Roots rock mixes with blue-eyed soul, gospel piano, and ... LP, Vinyl record album
The last album in the legendary run of records from Ginger Baker and the brothers Adrian and Paul Gurvitz – a heck of a power trio, but one that comes across in a very different way than Baker's famous work in Cream! If anything, Ginger's drums have more of a funk current than before – ... LP, Vinyl record album
Really cool work from the duo of David Teegarden and Skip "Van Winkle" Knape – a pair who work here with just drums from one member, organ from the other – and some mighty nice harmonized vocals! The approach is almost like a Fillmore crowd take on the modes of Sam & Dave ... LP, Vinyl record album
A landmark record from Maria Muldaur – quite different than the rougher folsky work she cut in the 60s – and done with a really warm studio sound that's pure 70s all the way through! Maria's working here with some older folksy contemporaries – like David Grisman, Ry Cooder, and ... LP, Vinyl record album
Alright, let's get this straight right now – the songs don't sound the same, they ARE the same and that's why we love them! If you found a way to concentrate 30 years of the best rock & roll into two and a half minutes of beautiful primal energy that still managed to qualify as ear candy ... LP, Vinyl record album
The biggest sounding Blondie album by far – and a radical leap from New York new wave scene band to a wildly ambitious pop pastiche machine! The band always had a fearless way of filtering far-reaching pop sounds into their material, even when they were still on the CBGBs scene, and while ... LP, Vinyl record album
