An unusual South African group – issued here in an American single!  © 1996-2015, Dusty Groove, Inc.

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

A totally great mellow soul track – recorded during the late Curtom years, by a group that may or may not be the same one on Salsoul! "Yes I'm In Love" is a really heavenly little number – a tune that builds and burns with a solidly soulful feel – mature 80s soul at its ... 7-inch, Vinyl record

An excellent EP of spare percussion and piano tracks – one of the best by pianist Geri Galian, and recorded with a no-nonsense sound that really gets to the root of his pyrotechnic style on the keys. Backing is by the "Carribean Rhythm Boys", who seem to be handling bass, conga, ... 7-inch, Vinyl record

Two of Joe Bataan's greatest soul tracks ever! "Crystal Blue Persuasion" was a big hit for Joe, and is a moody Latin soul cover of the big hit. "Ordinary Guy" is even better, and features some of the saddest soul lyrics you'll ever hear! 7-inch, Vinyl record
