Fleetwood Mac — Rumours ... LP 25.99
One of the most classic albums of the 70s – a never-ending hit that's continued to inspire generations! Back in the early years of punk, we were thinking that Rumours was a record that would pass by quickly – but it turns out to have a fair bit more staying power than Never Mind The Bollocks – and continues to get new interest and new appreciation as the years go on! And, after decades, we're finally on board with the greatness of the record, and everything the group was going through, and put into the songs within – a classic lineup that includes "Dreams", "Don't Stop", "Never Going Back Again", "Go Your Own Way", "The Chain", "You Make Loving Fun", "Oh Daddy", and "Gold Dust Woman".  © 1996-2023, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(Burbank label pressing. Includes the insert. Cover has some surface wear, faint stain on the lower corner.)

Very Good

  • Vinyl can have some dirt, but nothing major.
  • May not shine under light, but should still be pretty clean, and not too dirty.
  • May have a number of marks (5 to 10 at most), and obvious signs of play, but never a big cluster of them, or any major mark that would be very deep. Most marks should still not click under a fingernail.
  • May not look near perfect, but should play fairly well, with slight surface noise, and the occasional click in part of a song, but never throughout a whole song or more.
  • This is clearly a copy that was played by someone a number of times, but which could also be a good "play copy" for someone new.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Fleetwood Mac

Then Play On
Reprise, Late 60s. Very Good+ Gatefold
Really incredible work from the early version of Fleetwood Mac – a set that has them moving past the straighter blues of their roots, but not yet in the smooth territory of later 70s fame – music that's awash in the mindblowing guitar work of Peter Green! The pacing and song structure ... LP, Vinyl record album
Blue Horizon (UK), 1968. Near Mint-
Some of the earliest work ever recorded by Fleetwood Mac – and a set that you'll find quite different than their smooth crossover hits of the mid 70s! This set has the group in raw, bluesy territory throughout – but already not being slavish to their Chicago inspirations – and ... LP, Vinyl record album

Black Sabbath

Paranoid
Warner, 1971. Near Mint- Gatefold
Quite possibly the greatest moment of genius ever from Black Sabbath – and a genre-changing record that influenced generations! The group are at their lean, raw best here – free from any cliches at all, and working in an incredibly heady brew of fuzzy guitar, romping bass, and dark ... LP, Vinyl record album

Harpers Bizarre

Feelin Groovy
Warner, Late 60s. Near Mint-
A dream – and the fab first LP by Harpers Bizarre! The group were one of the strangest pop ensembles operating in the seminal LA scene of the mid 60s – ostensibly a sweet harmony vocal group, but with a strangely childish approach that also had an ear open for the mind-blowing ... Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Warner, 1973. Near Mint- Gatefold
The grandest scale and most elaborately furnished Black Sabbath album to this point – but they still bring the heavy! Alice Cooper

Billion Dollar Babies
Warner, 1973. Very Good+ Gatefold
Alice Cooper at his most sinister – crossing over big, but still keeping plenty of the lean, mean edge from the early days!
