The title's kind of an obvious overstatement – but it's also a great illustration of the simple and straightforward nature of the album – a set that's got a sound that's far rootsier than you might expect from its date – and which almost makes us feel like we're hearing Roosevelt at work in the back room of a small club on the south side of Chicago! The piano used on most tracks is nicely bluesy and almost out of tune – a quality that underscores the sadder tones in Sykes' vocals here, especially on the mellower and more late nite numbers. All of our used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws. After you receive a used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine that it plays correctly. If it does not, you can request a return for a full refund.
