This image is a general representation of the item and the actual product may differ slightly in terms of color shading, logo placement, borders, or other small details. Used items may have various cosmetic differences as well.
If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially
if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record.
This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip,
cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.
Used CD Grade
We have only one grade for non-new CDs at Dusty Groove — "Used CD".
This grade is somewhat all-encompassing, but we choose it because we try to offer
Used CDs in the best shape possible.
When you purchase a Used CD you can expect the disc to be free of all but the
lightest of surface marks, the case to be clean (we often change the cases ourselves),
and the booklet to be in good shape.
Used CDs may show some signs of use but if there are significant details or
defects we will list them underneath the item — just like we do with LPs —
so look there for notes on cutout marks, stickers, promo stamps or other details.
All of our Used CDs are guaranteed to play without skipping or flaws.
If you purchase a Used CD from Dusty Groove, you have 1 week to play it to determine
that it plays correctly —
and if it does not, then you may return it for a full refund.
Fantastic double CD set that includes 44 tracks of the Moonglows amazing doo wop sides recorded for Chess in the 50's. This is some of the best doo wop ever recorded on the planet, and the track list includes such great cuts as "Secret Love", "Most of All", "In My ... CD
A bit more mainstream than the first album from Second Image – but a set that still retains most of the group's charm! The best tracks here are sort of a laidback take on more forceful 80s groove modes – keyboards and basslines that snap nicely, but never go too far over the top – ... CD
Oliver Cheatham sounds wonderful here – in that best bouncy style that made him a big favorite on the dancefloors in the early 80s – a groove that's still pretty darn great all these years later! The set features key songwriting help from Al Hudson and Kevin McCord, both of whom help ... CD
10 classic mellow tunes from Al Hudson & One Way – just the sort of material that shows why the combo were such underground stars back in the day! The set's got a nice focus on some of the group's mellower cuts – sweetly stepping numbers that have a wonderfully mellow glide and a ... CD
Not to be confused with the Floaters first album, this is a pretty tasty batch of tracks from the group's short run on ABC records in the late 70s. The centerpiece of the CD is the title cut – "Float On" – the group's enduring favorite, and a massive track that's presented ... CD
Damn, One Way never lets us down – and although the group cut many albums back in the day, all of them have some great standout moments! The groove here seems even tighter than ever, but never slick or commercial – a very important distinction, given that so many of One Way's ... CD
One of the deepest soul records ever issued by Chess Records – and the album wasn't even done in Chicago! The album's the only full effort issued under the name of Kim Tolliver – a singer who'd worked previously for Fantasy as Kimberley Briggs – and it's a sublime effort from ... CD
A sweet sweet groover from Klique – with a sound that more than makes us forgive them for their silly costumes on the cover! The tunes on the set have a wonderfully simple approach to the groove – one that you might not expect from the group's glossy image, but which is served up here ... CD
