Electric Boogaloo (dance mix, inst)

12-inch (Item 58609) Polydor, 1984 — Condition: Very Good+

More of an 80s groove number than an electro or hip hop track – but still plenty nice, especially considering the movie it came from!  © 1996-2021, Dusty Groove, Inc.
(In a Polygram sleeve. Label has some writing.)

Very Good + (plus)

  • Vinyl should be very clean, but can have less luster than near mint.
  • Should still shine under a light, but one or two marks may show up when tilted.
  • Can have a few small marks that may show up easily, but which do not affect play at all. Most marks of this quality will disappear when the record is tilted, and will not be felt with the back of a fingernail.
  • This is the kind of record that will play "near mint", but which will have some signs of use (although not major ones).
  • May have slight surface noise when played.

Additional Marks & Notes

If something is noteworthy, we try to note it in the comments — especially if it is an oddity that is the only wrong thing about the record. This might include, but isn't limited to, warped records, tracks that skip, cover damage or wear as noted above, or strictly cosmetic flaws.

Cutting, Late 80s. Very Good+
Jazzy J cuts it up nicely on the 1's and 2's, while Shameek rides the mic over the Cavern/White Lines bassline. The b-side's not much more than a booming 808 with some rhymes over top, but that's nothing to complain about. 12-inch, Vinyl record

No rapping on this single by the Two Sisters, and the track veers a bit more towards euro dance than electro, but nobody was really making distinctions like that back when this came out. 12-inch, Vinyl record
